Russian Forces Advance: 1.08 km²

Advance = 1.08km2

For this update we’re starting up on the Kupyansk front, north of the town itself. Recent video footage has shown that Ukraine managed to regain control of one of the trenches east of Kindrashivka, with Russia shelling it now. The Russians still hold the forest areas south of this advance, but it will be difficult to maintain their positions around Radkivka unless they can push Ukraine back.
Ukrainian Forces Advance: 0.33 km²

Advance = 0.33km2

On the Oskil River front, Ukraine was confirmed to have captured the last couple of houses in Kopanky, confirming their recapture of the settlement. For a quick reminder, Ukraine launched a series of attacks to retake Kopanky back in late March and by early May were shown to have retaken the majority of the settlement. Back then there were still a few houses on the northeastern side left for them to clear, which Ukraine like took sometime in the past month or 2. As happens with the quiet areas, minimal reports and virtually no footage mean updates on territorial control are few and far between.

There have also been some clashes northwest of Kopanky near Zelenyi Hai, with no advance made by either side so far.
Russian Forces Advance: 11.64 km²

Top Left Advance = 0.60km2, Left Advance = 6.77km2, Middle Left Advance = 4.27km2

Further south on the same front, Russian troops continue to make their slow push towards Hlushchenkove, capturing more of the treelines they have been advancing up and crossing the Nitrius River (is quite thin in this area). Whilst they are right on the outskirts of the village, they have not yet made an assault due to the Ukrainian counterattacks into Ridkodub further south. Ukraine is still in control of half of Ridkodub, sending more small infantry groups to reinforce the push, with heavy clashes continuing.

A little further south, Russian assault groups were able to make several larger advances over the past few days, clearing a number of fields, treelines and some small forested areas. They are now reaching the point where they could make a push on Serednje, but will likely want to expand their control of the area and wrap up the assault on Karpivka beforehand. Speaking of, Russia could continue moving west of this push to cross the Nitrius River south of Karpivka, then work their way back north to attack the town.

Slightly southeast, Russian assault groups were confirmed to have cleared out the remainder of Zelena Dolyna, confirming full control of the village. As mentioned in the previous post, per reports this happened a couple of days ago but it took a little while for evidence to be released.
Russian Forces Advance: 1.38 km²

Advance = 1.38km2

North of Toretsk, Russia cleared a couple of fields and treelines between the two Dyliivkas.
Russian Forces Advance: 2.37 km²

Top Advance = 0.30km2, Upper Right Advance = 2.07km2

On the Kostyantynivka front, Russian troops made a small advance southeast of Rusyn Yar, clearing the remainder of a treeline.

To the southeast, Russia has continued to slowly clear the area south of Yablunivka, taking over a few more fields and treelines. Heavy clashes continue within the town.
Russian Forces Advance: 10.49 km²

Upper Middle Advance = 2.52km2, Bottom Advance = 7.97km2

On the Velyka Novosilka front, Russian assault groups finished clearing the remainder of Tolstoi, confirming full control of the village. They have already begun to move north towards Novokhatske, heading up the treelines north of Tolstoi.

To the south, Russian forces cleared the remaining trenches and fields south of Mryne, which opens the way for a push west towards Voskresenka. There are some more fortifications between this advance and the large village, but Russia should be able to clear and use them as cover for the eventual assault on the settlement.
Russian Forces Advance: 9.13 km²

Advance = 9.13km2

Context
Heading back up to the Oskil River front, this time slightly further north where Russian assault groups made a successful series of attacks. Over the span of several days they pushed west along one of the rivers, taking over a number of treelines and fields, before attacking several trench networks one by one (such as this). This put them in an interesting albeit dangerous position; these Russian groups could continue to capture the line of trench networks one by one in a push west, pressuring the entire Ukrainian grouping further north around Bohuslavka and Zahryzove. They could also try head south to assault Borivska Andriivka, bypassing Zelenyi Hai and cutting off supplies to the village.

Either way, this small spearhead will need to be expanded and reinforcements brought in before either option could be pursued.
Russian Forces Advance: 6.52 km²

Upper Left Advance = 1.56km2, Lower Left Advance = 4.96km2

Following on from picture 3, on the west side, the Russian assault groups previously mentioned have captured a few more fields and treelines, moving west towards the Nitrius River. It is too early to tell if they intend to cross the river to support the assault on Karpivka or will attack Serednje first.

To the southeast, over the span of several days Russia has expanded their control of the fields and treelines south of Zelena Dolyna following the capture of the village. If Russia continues to push in this direction, they could cut off Ukrainian troops in Kolodyazi and break the stalemate that has been ongoing for over a month.
Russian Forces Advance: 3.97 km²

Far left advance = 0.47km2, Lower Left Advance = 2.60km2, Lower Right Advance = 0.45km2, Bottom Advance = 0.45km2

Back to the Toretsk and Kostyantynivka fronts, this time in the area where they join. In Toretsk itself, Suriyak has finally marked the small sliver of the western side of the town as Russian controlled. Same as with the advance last post, I believe that Russia likely recaptured this area a while ago, with no Ukrainians seen here in over a month, but uncertainty over whether any of them were hiding in the basements meant he delayed updating it until now. This does mean Toretsk is almost entirely under Russian control, with only a few warehouses on the far-western side left to clear.

To the southwest, there was a small Russian push next to Leonidivka, with Russian command possibly considering another assault attempt on Novospaske.

To the northwest, Russian troops have cleared a few more treelines and fields near Katerynivka, now just 300m from the first buildings of the settlement. The assault has not begun quite yet, but Russia is almost certainly in the process of preparing one.

Finally, all the way over to the northwest, there was a minor Russian advance on the northern side of Yablunivka, with a Russian assault group taking over a trench.

Russian Forces Advance: 5.20 km²

Upper Middle Advance = 1.74km2, Lower Middle Advance = 1.26km2, Bottom Advance = 2.20km2

Following on from picture 6, Russia expanded the buffer around Tolstoi, moving west into the tree plantation next to the village.

To the south, the Russian assault on Myrne commenced a few days ago, with their assault groups taking over most of the village quite quickly. As mentioned previously, the Ukrainian garrison in Myrne is likely quite small and struggling due to a lack of infantry and supplies being cut off. They are unlikely to be able to escape at this point.

Slightly southwest, a different set of Russian troops captured some more fields, treelines and some fortification east of Voskresenka.
Russian Forces Advance: 0.63 km²

Advance = 0.63km2

Context
Heading up to Sumy, one Russian infantry group crossed the open ground between the border and the town of Myropillya, reaching and taking up positions on the northern edge of the settlement. Russia has been doing preparatory work for the assault on Myropillya for some time now (e.g. heavy shelling, droning logistics, bringing troops forward), but now it looks they will actually try make an assault on the town.

Heavy clashes continue on the other side of the Sumy front, with no updates yet.
Ukrainian Forces Advance: 6.66 km²

Upper Left Advance = 2.41km2, Middle Left Advance = 0.28km2, Lower Right Advance = 1.01km2

Following on from picture 1, Ukraine continued to counterattack in and around Kindrashivka, capturing more houses within the small town and several treelines to the east of it. Their goal is to try cut off the Russian forces within Kindrashivka and the ones around Radkivka by reaching Kalynove.

Speaking of Radkivka, one Russian group was confirmed to have pushed west of their positions next to the village, taking over another small forest area. Its unlikely this group would be able to counterattack the Ukrainian forces north of it, just due to not having enough troops, but if Russia can reinforce them they might be able to force Ukraine to give up on their push to cut the Russians off.

Out to the east, there was a small Russian advance in the fields south of Vilshana. Activity in this area is quite low, so I don’t expect there to be much more progress by the Russians anytime soon.
Russian Forces Advance: 8.85 km²

Left Advance = 4.51km2, Middle Left Advance = 1.17km2, Upper Right Advance = 3.17km2

Following on from picture 9, over the past few days Ukraine counterattacked in Oleksandro-Kalynove, recapturing the village and the large chunk of greyzone east of it. Russia will now need to launch another assault if they wish to pressure Yablunivka from the east.

Heading west, days Russia started its assault on Novotoretsk, taking over about a third of the settlement and the fields south of it. They are currently pressuring the remaining portion and reportedly are also trying to cross over the Kazenyi Toretsk River to enter Boikivka. Another Russian group also captured part of a long treeline east of the village.
Russian Forces Advance: 6.47 km²

Upper Middle Advance = 0.62km2, Middle Advance = 0.31km2, Lower Middle Advance = 2.17km2, Bottom Advance = 3.37km2

Following on from picture 10, on the north side, Russian infantry were shown to be present in the western houses of Novokhatske, having pushed into the village from Tolstoi. There is some confusion as to how much of the settlement they control, hence why Suriyak has been conservative and shown only the west side as a Russian advance. They will likely take over Novokhatske regardless, but it will take a few days to clear it and confirm their control.

To the south, the Russian assault on Myrne continues, with most of the village now under Russian control. It is now just a matter of clearing the last houses, which should occur in the next few days. Another Russian group has also been clearing the fields and treelines east of Myrne, as Russia tries to link Komar up with the village.

To the south, Russian troops again made an advance around Voskresenka, capturing a number of fields and treelines southeast of the village. At the current rate they will be in position to make an assault on the settlement within 3 or 4 days.
Russian Forces Advance: 1.63 km²

Advance = 1.63km2

Context
Over to the Zaporizhia front, Russian forces cleared out the last buildings in Kamyanske, confirming full control of the town. They are already working on pushing deeper into Plavni, not wanting to waste the opening they have created on this front.
