Russian Forces Advance: 2.10 km²

Advance = 2.10km2

For this update we’re starting off on the Oskil River front, where Russia has continued their push towards Shandryholove. They have taken over several treelines and part of a few fields to the northeast, putting them on the outskirts of the small town. However, it is unlikely they will assault the settlement from here, as they still need to secure their flanks and improve their position to avoid being cutoff if a counterattack occurs.
Russian Forces Advance: 4.31 km²

Upper Middle Advance = 3.02km2, Lower Middle Advance = 1.05km2, Bottom Advance = 0.24km2

Over in Chasiv Yar, following the capture of the town a few days ago, Russian assault groups immediately pushed out to the west. They cleared the last of the small forest next to the centre of the town, as well as the fields immediately west of the westernmost suburb. Fighting is ongoing in neighbouring Mykolaivka (under the a), where Russia has slightly improved its positions after capturing some more houses and fortifications.

There was also a smaller push on the southern side of Chasiv Yar, with Russia beginning to clear the numerous fortifications that sit outside the town.
Context

No Advance

Over in Pokrovsk, heavy clashes continue in the city, with minimal new information since the last update. We did get one rare video of Russian troops within the city itself, confirming that they are present in the western suburbs and that the grey zone has expanded somewhat. As I’ve mentioned before, both sides are withholding information and footage for OPSEC purposes, so updates about Pokrovsk will be few and lack detail.

At the very least one thing we do know is that Russian is continuing to put enormous pressure on the logistics supplying Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad, constantly striking any Ukrainian vehicle or troops spotted trying to get in and out (one example, plenty of others but you get the idea). Ukrainian sources also report Russia targeting Ukrainian drone teams, hampering the defence of the cities.
Ukrainian Forces Advance: 3.93 km²

Lower Middle Advance = 1.40km2, Bottom Advance = 2.53km2

Back up to the Oskil River front, this time in Torske where heavy clashes are ongoing. Ukrainian troops managed to slightly improve their positions east of the town, moving from the farm to the treeline further north in an attempt to cut the Russian assault groups off.

At the same time on the south side of Torske, the Russian push mentioned in a previous post was confirmed to have been successful, with Russian troops managing to occupy and secure a number of buildings. If Russia can hold this corridor through the forest open, they will be able to attack central Torske from both the north and south, significantly increasing the chances of squeezing Ukraine out of the town.

I’ll also note the situation in central Torske is a mess, with both Russian and Ukrainian troops occupying different ruins and basements all over the place, whilst they both try and shell and bomb each other.
Russian Forces Advance: 4.74 km²

Left Advance = 3.97km2, Middle Advance = 0.77km2

Over to the Toretsk front, Russian forces continue to clear the pocket that had formed near the town, as Ukraine is forced to retreat due to supply issues and attacks from multiple sides. Russia has managed to capture more of northern Shcherbynivka (now controlling about 80%), as well as the fields to the west and east.

Russian assault groups also managed to clear and capture the last buildings and warehouses on the northwestern edge of Toretsk, confirming full control of the city. Unless there is any major shift on this front (unlikely), this concludes the battle for Toretsk, which lasted for just under a year. I will note that the last ¼ of that battle was incredibly low intensity, with Russia ignoring the few tiny pockets Ukraine still held on the outskirts in favour of advancing to the north and to the west. With Toretsk fully controlled and neighbouring Shcherbynivka now falling, Ukrainian troops still in the small pocket that has formed against the reservoir are under immense pressure and may be forced to withdraw entirely from Katerynivka and Kleban-Byk to avoid being encircled.

To that end, Russia managed to make a small advance north of Toretsk, recapturing some defences in the fields near the Novodzerzhinskaya Mine.
Ukrainian Forces Advance: 3.47 km²

Advance = 3.47km2

On the Velyka Novosilka front, Ukraine counterattacked the outer Russian positions west of Zelenyi Hai, recapturing a farm and several treelines. The few forward Russian troops have withdrawn back into the settlement, where they will likely be preparing to push back out and try undo Ukraine’s counterattack.
Russian Forces Advance: 6.33 km²

Lower Right Advance = 2.84km2, Bottom Advance = 3.49km2

To the south on the same front, both Russia and Ukraine made advances along and next to the Donetsk-Dnipro-Zaporizhia Oblast borders. Going counterclockwise, Russian troops from Zelene Pole have continued their slow push north, capturing several fields and treelines as they make their way towards Komyshuvakha.

To the west of that, Ukraine counterattacked the Russian positions around Temyrivka, managing to drive back the forward Russian DRGs and infantry and retake several fields and treelines. They have reportedly also re-entered Temyrivka in small numbers, but it is unclear whether they intend to try recapture the village or are just buying time to prepare for the defence of the other settlements in the area.

There was also a minor Russian advance southeast of Temyrivka, capturing a couple of fields and treelines over near Novopil.
Russian Forces Advance: 2.80 km²

Very Top Left Advance = 0.63km2, Top Left Advance = 0.33km2, Upper Left Advance = 1.84km2

Heading over to the Zaporizhia front, both Russian and Ukraine made positional advancements in the area near the Dnieper River. Going west to east, Russian assault groups continue to clear Plavni, albeit at a slower pace than before, capturing a few more streets over the past few days. I have seen some reports that Plavni is entirely Russian controlled right now, but can’t confirm this information.

To the east, Ukraine was able to drive the few Russian troops that made it into the Stepnohirsk apartment District out, recapturing the area. This was the greatest concern here for Ukraine, as the district is simultaneously the best defence point for them to hold from, but also a perfect forward base for Russia to use to attack the rest of the town.

A little further east, Russia has also continued to slowly clear the nearby treelines and fields, capturing several of them to the southwest of Stepnohirsk.

I’ll also mention that starting a few days ago Ukraine began to make aggressive counterattacks towards Kamyanske, managing to get some troops into the town. Unfortunately due to how far forward they were pushing and the lack of friendly cover, these groups were wiped out by the Russians (video 1, video 2, other footage not posted to the sub). Still, these have effectively stalled Russia here somewhat, which may buy Ukraine enough time to reinforce Stepnohirsk.
Russian Forces Advance: 5.30 km²

Left Advance = 4.27km2, Middle Left Advance = 1.03km2

Context
Moving up to the Kupyansk front, heavy clashes and intense fighting are ongoing for the town. Over the past 4 days, Russian assault groups have improved their positions in northern Kupyansk, capturing several streets and a number of buildings as they push towards the centre of the settlement.

To the west, another set of Russian assault groups have managed to secure neigbouring Moskovka as well as a large chunk of the fields west of the village. These groups are currently trying to push south towards Sobolivka, to try cut off or at least pressure supplies travelling into Kupyansk (as I predicted here).

Whilst I won’t say the situation is dire for Ukraine (yet), it is certainly deteriorating and if they do not push back soon Russia may be able to cut off supplies, which will compromise the entire Kupyansk pocket.
Russian Forces Advance: 4.50 km²

Advance = 4.50km2

Following on from picture 1, Russian troops managed to captured the treelines between their previous pushes near Shandryholove (were empty). This does provide them a much better position to attack the town from, but they may still try to secure the treelines to the northwest first before beginning their assault.
Russian Forces Advance: 4.92 km²

Upper Right Advance = 0.47km2, Middle Right Advance = 2.73km2, Lower Right Advance = 0.69km2, Bottom Right Advance = 1.03km2

On the Siversk front, Russia has continued ramping up attacks and pressure over the past 3 days. Starting on the north side, Russian assault groups slightly improved their positions within Serebryanka, taking over the remainder of the east side of the small town. Fighting is ongoing here, but has slowed down considerably with both sides well dug-in.

To the south, Russian forces recaptured the fields and defences further east of Siversk, slightly widening the push towards the town. There are more trenches and bunkers in this area that they still need to clear before they have a solid foothold for an assault on Toretsk, which they will likely work on over the next few weeks.

Moving south again, a few Russian infantry moved out of Verkhnokamyanske to the west, capturing the tiny village of Novoselivka (all buildings destroyed) and pushing west along the treelines to start clearing out the Ukrainian defences in the area. This is also part of the preparation for an assault on Siversk, as Russia needs to clear out these fortification lines east of the town if it wants to attack it from multiple sides.

Heading south one more time, another Russian group cleared out another trench network to the west of Ivano-Darivka.
Russian Forces Advance: 3.34 km²

Left Advance = 2.68km2, Middle Left Advance = 0.66km2

Context
Back to the Pokrovsk front, this time to the north of the cities, where Russia is trying to break through to cut off supplies. Sometime in the past week Russian assault groups were able to clear and capture the village of Sukhetske, which sits just north of Rodynske.

Adjacent to this, heavy clashes have been occurring in the Krasnolimanskaya mine, as Russia tries to take it over. If they are able to establish control over the mine, Russia will have the perfect foothold from which to assault Rodynske, as the mine provides ample cover and solid structures that can house troops and ammunition. Russian DRGs are still active within Rodynske, but they have also been shelling and bombing the town ahead of their assault.
Russian Forces Advance: 5.40 km²

Left Advance = 3.96km2, Middle Left Advance = 1.44km2

Over on the west side of the Kostyantynivka front, after a little under 2 weeks of clashes, Russian assault groups managed to capture Poltavka, clearing out and taking over the remainder of the settlement over the past few days. They have wasted no time in chasing the surviving Ukrainian garrison to the north, and are starting to move into the forest areas along the small reservoirs.

Slightly east of here, fighting continues in Rusyn Yar, with Russian troops confirmed to have improved their positions slightly east of the village, taking over a couple of treelines. With Poltavka no longer under Ukrainian control their troops in Rusyn Yar will be unlikely to hold the settlement, now that Russia can also flank it from the west side.
Russian Forces Advance: 0.25 km²

Left Bottom Advance = 0.12km2, Right Bottom Advance = 0.13km2

Following on from picture 3, heavy clashes continue in Pokrovsk with minimal changes (only slight expansion of greyzone). Given the lack of reports or footage, I’ll decline to comment on Pokrovsk for now.
Context
To the southeast, at some point in the past couple of weeks Ukraine slightly improved their positions in Lysivka, recapturing a couple of houses on the northern street (was greyzone). Reportedly they are trying to move back into the southern side of the settlement, hoping to take advantage of Russian attention being on the fighting elsewhere.
Russian Forces Advance: 0.94 km²

Advance = 0.94km2

Context
Back over to the Velyka Novosilka front, clashes continue in Voskresenka, with Russian troops managed to capture the treelines south of the village. The Ukrainian troops still hold some positions in the settlement, but are gradually being bombed out and will likely be forced to withdraw in the coming days.
Ukrainian Forces Advance: 10.26 km²

Lower Left Advance = 10.26km2,
