No Advance

We’re starting off today in the Sumy border area, where Russia and Ukraine have been fighting over the tiny village of Bezsalivka. As mentioned in previous posts, Bezsalivka holds no real value for either Russia or Ukraine, being too close to the border and lacking the cover to be much more than a transit point for DRGs or assault groups. Russia had crossed the border into Sumy and taken Bezsalivka several months ago, but never followed up with any further push, and now Ukraine is trying to recapture the village.

For now Bezsalivka sits in the greyzone as the small number of infantry Ukraine sent in were unable to consolidate. Russia likewise does not have many forces present and will probably not counterattack to resecure Bezsalivka unless it is undefended.
Russian Forces Advance: 4.74 km²

Left Advance = 1.40km2, Bottom Advance = 3.34km2

Moving over to the Oskil River front, starting on the southwest side, after a few more days of clashes Russia was able to clear and capture the last few buildings in Serednje, as well as another part of the treelines to the east. They’ll still need to secure a buffer around the village to truly secure the settlement, but for now they are focusing on attacking Shandryholove to the south.

To the southeast, following their capture of Kolodyazi Russian assault groups are now pressing south, capturing a couple of fields and treelines. They are currently working on surrounding the tiny village of Myrne (blue dot next to this advance), which has a small Ukrainian contingent dug in defending it. It is unlikely to hold once assaults begin, but Russia is trying to bomb them out before attempting to move in.
Russian Forces Advance: 3.24 km²

Advance = 3.24km2

Shifting down to the eastern side of the Hulyaipole front, Russia has continued their small opportunistic advances north of Olhivske, capturing another couple of treelines and some fields with a small number of infantry. They have yet to make an attempt on Olhivske and are instead trying to bypass the village.

Russian Forces Advance: 0.52 km²

Advance = 0.52km2

Back to the Oskil River front, this time slightly south of picture 2 where the Russia assault on Zarichne continues. After another 5 or so days of attacks and positional battles, Russian troops have slightly increased their control of the town and have also expanded the greyzone. The battle will continue to progress slowly as the high density of drones coupled with the open ground Russia needs to cover to reach Zarichne (through Torske) make any movement difficult. Ukrainian counterattacks are occurring infrequently, but have had limited effect so far.
Russian Forces Advance: 0.22 km²

Advance = 0.22km2

Down to the Toretsk front, Russia troops made a minor advance along the railway northeast of Kleban-Byk, capturing more of the treelines there. Fighting is ongoing in Kleban-Byk with no reportable territorial changes.
Russian Forces Advance: 10.84 km²

Upper Left Advance = 6.01km2, Upper Right Advance = 4.83km2

Further west on the Kostyantynivka front, Russian assault operations to the north have continued over the past week. They have continued building their push around Rusyn Yar on the northeast side, securing several more treelines and approaching the outskirts of one of the quarries, whilst on the northwest side they have secured a different group of treelines near the reservoir. If Russia continue pushing north here next to the reservoir they will Be able to pressure the supplies running to Toretske and Sofivka.

There have also been a variety of claims regarding the Russian spearhead on the other side of Shakhove, but with both sides withholding information and footage nothing can actually be confirmed.
Russian Forces Advance: 2.22 km²

Left Advance = 1.17km2, Middle Advance = 0.41km2, Right Advance = 0.64km2

On the southern side of Pokrovsk, Russian forces slightly improved their positions in the southern suburbs, capturing the remaining houses in Zelenivka District, as well as moving into the Lazurnyi district. Russia has been present in the latter for a while now, however that was primarily DRG presence or troops who moved in and had to withdraw. It seems like now they have built their forces up enough to properly control the area and move assault groups in, but it will still be a slog to take the apartment blocks.

Out to the west, Russia forces in Udachne managed to secure the northern warehouses and most of the remaining buildings on the northwest side of the town. There is still a number of houses to clear before Russia controls the settlement and Ukraine is still conducting counterattacks so the battle is not yet over.

Over to the east, Ukraine reestablished control over part of the treelines immediately south of Myrnohrad, preventing Russia from using them to try enter the city.
Russian Forces Advance: 7.33 km²

Top Right Advance = 4.83km2, Lower Middle Advance = 2.80km2

On the Velyka Novosilka front, Russian forces on the northeast side are working on closing the pocket around Komyshuvkha, clearing over a number of fields and treelines west of Shevchenko.

To the southwest, another Russian group has been working on building the buffer around Temyrivka, capturing one of the long treelines and field south of the settlement.
Russian Forces Advance: 3.34 km²

Top Advance = 0.92km2, Bottom Left Advance = 2.42km2

Context
Following on from picture 2, on the north side, following the Ukrainian attack that took place last week, Russian forces launched attacks of their own in and around Novomykhailivka, managing to push Ukraine back and reestablish control over part of the village. Clashes are ongoing in this area as both sides seek to clear the other out.

To the southwest, whilst fighting has been ongoing in Shandryholove, a small Russian group has been working on clearing the treelines to the east of the small town, managing to capture a few of them and push further southwest towards Derylove.

It was also around this time that Ukraine launched a large, simultaneous motorised attack from multiple directions on this front, which seems to have ended poorly (video 1, video 2). Whilst specifics are scarce (it’s somewhere between Shandryholove and Ridkodub, it does show that Ukraine is still being quite aggressive on this front and is not slowing down their counterattacks despite the loss of ground.
Russian Forces Advance: 3.03 km²

Upper Left Advance = 0.29km2, Middle Left Advance = 1.93km2, Lower Left Advance = 0.81km2

Following on from picture 4, on the north side, Russia slightly improved its positions next to Myre, securing the adjacent treeline as the prepare to assault the small village.

To the south, Russian forces managed to clear and capture the fish farm north of Torske, as well as the last houses of the town, confirming full control of the settlement. Whilst this was happening, other Russian troops continued to work on capturing Zarichne, expanding their control of the southern houses of the town.
Ukrainian Forces Advance: 2.36 km²

Top Right Advance = 2.31km2, Bottom Advance = 0.05km2

Following on from picture 7, on the eastern side of Myrnohrad Ukrainian assault groups have been pushing into Novoekonomichne, managing to secure a foothold on the southern side of the town. Their goal is to use the tree cover to move from Myrnohrad to southern Novoekonomichne and then advance north to clear the town and stop Russian assault operations around Myrnohrad.

Over to the southwest, there was a minor Russian advance in a treeline west of Lysivka, as their forces begin to probe that area.
Ukrainian Forces Advance: 4.25 km²

Top Right Advance = 3.10km2, Bottom Advance = 1.15km2

Following on from picture 8, on the northeast side, over the past week or two Ukraine have been continuing their counterattacks around Dachne, retaking a few treelines and managing to reach the village once again. Dachne is currently stuck in a battle of flags, where neither Russia nor Ukraine actually control it but both are moving in to take flag waving videos before retreating or being pushing out by drones. Yes, it really is that stupid.

To the southwest, at least one Russian group reportedly made their way along a gulley from Voskresenka, managing to reach the outskirts of Novoselivka. It’s unclear what happened to this group and whether they made it inside the village or not, just that they were in this area.

South of that, Russia once again made another advance to close the pocket around Komyshuvkha, capturing another couple of treelines east of the village. They have also begun assault operations on the settlement, however from the south rather than east where this advance took place.
Ukrainian Forces Advance: 5.97 km²

Advance = 5.97km2

Heading up to the Kupyansk front, over the past 4 days Ukraine was able to counterattack from Sobolivka and from the west, recapturing number of fields and treelines, as well as retaking the western side of Moskovka. Clashes are ongoing in this area, with more of the same flag waving nonsense I mentioned under picture 12.
Russian Forces Advance: 6.67 km²

Top Left Advance = 1.00km2, Lower Left Advance = 5.67km2

Context
Following on from picture 9, on the north side, Russian assault groups managed to capture the village of Hulshchenkove after a long period of low intensity back and forth fighting. Whilst there are not many troops here, they reportedly have already pushing out from the settlement and are trying to expand their control of the surrounding area whilst Ukraine is preoccupied with the counterattack in Novomykhailivka.

A little to the south, clashes are ongoing in Ridkodub with no territorial changes. Ukraine continues to funnel forces in to try capture the village, whilst Russia has been unsuccessful in pushing them out, only stopping further progress.

Moving south again, the previously mentioned Russian groups have cleared the remaining treelines east of Shandryholove and are swinging around to the south of the settlement to try cut it off from supplies and reinforcements.
Russian Forces Advance: 0.18 km²

Advance = 0.18km2

Context
Following on from picture 11, Russian forces managed to reestablish control over the last houses in Leontovychi, recapturing the village. There have been a number of claims regarding further Russian progress deeper into Pokrovsk, but for now this is all that could be confirmed.
Russian Forces Advance: 1.78 km²

Advance = 1.78km2

Following on from picture 12, the Russian assault on Komyshuvkha started and has progressed quickly, with half of the settlement falling under their control in the first day. Ukraine has struggled to reinforce and supply this area for a while now, so the garrison has been severely worn down by shelling and droning and it’s even possible that no more Ukrainians are present, hence the speed of the Russian clearing. The remainder will almost certainly fall within the next day or two, it just needs to be confirmed.
