Russian Forces Advance: 2.27 km²

Advance = 2.27km2

Beginning on the Sumy border area, after further skirmishes through September Russia has consolidated its positions within Ulanove and is working on securing the remaining buildings.
Russian Forces Advance: 74.88 km²

Top Right Advance = 14.48km2, Middle Advance = 34.24km2, Right Advance = 10.50km2, Lower Right Advance = 13.72km2, Bottom Right Advance = 1.94km2

Context
Moving to the northern front, after another week of clashes the pocket in this corner of Kharkiv oblast has shrunk further. On the northeast side Russian troops reportedly moved further in from their push last week, capturing the minor villages of Krasnyi Yar and Khyzhnyakove, as well as the nearby treelines.
Context
Southwest, other Russia groups are moving out from Zakharivka, Ivanivka and Vasylivka, pushing into the interior of the pocket and clearing a number of treelines.
Context
To the east, Russia is back in Shyroke (this time Suriyak marked as under their control) and the nearby treelines, with forward forces allegedly already trying to clear Ozerne and Bereznyky. An almost identical situation is unfolding to the south, with Ivashchyne and the eastern outskirts of Dovzhanka marked as back under Russia control. If you’ve been paying attention this means that Suriyak has essentially undone all the Ukrainian gains from their reported counterattacks several weeks back, although whether they actually occurred and were pushed back, or Russia never left these areas is still unclear.

A little further southeast, Ukraine recaptured a couple of treelines east of Zarubynka, pushing Russia back from the village a bit.

As I’ve mentioned a number of times, reporting on this area is incredibly mixed. The Russians claim a full encirclement and most of the pocket cleared, whilst Ukraine says Russia hasn’t made any gains here despite geolocations. The situation is quite fluid due to how few troops are holding these villages and are present throughout this front, but eventually it will calm down and we’ll get confirmation on where exactly the frontline sits.
Ukrainian Forces Advance: 7.91 km²

Advance = 7.91km2

Down to the Kupyansk front, throughout September Ukraine transferred additional troops to the east bank of the Oskil river and is now attempting to resecure Hlushkivka (was greyzone and Ukrainian controlled), with their forces retaking the northern houses and some of the fortifications east of the village.

Ukrainian Forces Advance: 51.32 km²

Advance = 51.32km2

Heading to the Lyman front, over the past two weeks (half of this was in the live map last week but Suriyak didn’t include it for some reason) Ukraine has been continuing their attacks towards the Zherebets River as mentioned in previous posts. The lack of geolocations and any evidence continues, but reports put most of the fighting now occurring on the western bank of the river as Ukraine attempts to seize it and cross, whilst Russia tries to hold its bridgehead.

Clashes are allegedly ongoing all the way from Makiivka down to Zarichne, with Ukraine now marked as being in control of most remaining treelines west of the Zherebets River in this stretch and the village of Kolodyazi. For now Russia is managing to hold the river line and its bridgehead in some places amidst constant Ukrainian assaults, but that could change in the coming weeks.
Ukrainian Forces Advance: 45.73 km²

Top Advance = 6.61km2, Upper Middle Advance = 0.40km2, Middle Advance = 20.28km2, Lower Left Advance = 18.80km2

A little south on the same front, more of what I mentioned above is happening next to Lyman, with this being the southern part of that push towards the Zherebets River.

Further south, Ukraine has also been launching attacks in the forest south of the town, recapturing the large area of greyzone and Dibrova, which has been the site of back and forth skirmishes for several months now. They’ve also been attempting to infiltrate Yampil yet again, although have not been successful so far.

Southwest, other Ukrainian units reportedly began a series of counterattacks from Mykolaivka, clearing the outskirts of the small town and pushing out towards Rai-Oleksandrivka. There is similarly minimal information about these attacks, with there only being one geolocation so far. Therefore I can’t comment much on this, but it’s certainly doable for Ukraine to clear out all that greyzone around Mykolaivka and send infiltrators of their own into Rai-Oleksandrivka.
Russian Forces Advance: 1.92 km²

Advance = 1.92km2

Onto the Kostyantynivka front, on the northeast side Russian troops are positioning themselves for an assault on Fedorivka, having taken the fortifications outside the locality.

To the southwest Russia and Ukraine continue to skirmish over Kurtivka and Osykove, with various small infantry groups moving back and forth.
Russian Forces Advance: 16.17 km²

Top Advance = 1.92km2, Bottom Left Advance = 14.25km2

Over on the Pokrovsk front, on the north side Russia is maintaining their attacks around Serhiivka, capturing some treelines along the highway and attempting to move north of the town. Again, no consolidation has taken place within the locality but their troops are present outside of it.

A little south, Suriyak has corrected the frontline somewhat, with Novopidhorodne and much of the nearby treelines being put back under Russian control. This undoes the claimed Ukrainian attacks from early September that he reported and brings the frontline back to where it was at the end of August (so virtually no change here).
Ukrainian Forces Advance: 43.04 km²

Top Right Advance = 38.66km2, Bottom Advance = 4.38km2

Moving to the Komar front, over several weeks of attacks Ukraine looks to have recaptured Zirka, Yalta, Zaporizhzhya and much of the surrounding treelines. There is mixed reported regarding the latter two localities, with other sources claiming they are contested or under no one’s control.

Southwest, Russia resecured Zaporizke following Ukrainian infiltrations the previous week.
Ukrainian Forces Advance: 13.01 km²

Middle Left Advance = 11.87km2, Bottom Left Advance = 1.14km2

Down to the Hulyaipole front, Ukraine has also been continuing attacks towards the Haichur River, with several more treelines being marked as under their control. As I mentioned previously, these advances are contested as geolocations show Russia still in Vozdvyzhivka and Vekhnya Tersa, and to partially spoil the next post Suriyak has walked back much of the advance depicted here.
Context
Ukrainian Forces Advance: 29.93 km²

Advance = 29.93km2

Out on the Orikhiv front, following the arrival of reinforcements (mentioned last week) Ukraine counterattacked from Yurkivka, driving Russian DRGs back from the locality and neighbouring Novopavlivka. Clashes are now ongoing in the fields between the localities, with heavy shelling of almost every treeline in the area.
Ukrainian Forces Advance: 18.70 km²

Advance = 18.70km2

Swinging out to the Zaporizhia front, Ukraine continued their attacks into the greyzone formed from Russian attacks and infiltrations in early September. This effectively brings the frontline back to about where it was in August, although Ukraine won’t stop here and will make yet another attempt to get back to the Shcherbakys.
