RU POV: Russian advances on Day 817 and 818 of the war - Suriyakmaps

Russian forces were confirmed to have made larger advances in Serebryansky forest, after months of back and forth fighting. Given how dense these forests are, the high number of trenches and dugouts, and the lack of identifiable features, advances by either side here are difficult and hard to confirm. Whilst the fighting has never really stopped here, it has increased in intensity over the past few days, which led to these larger gains.

Russian forces still have a long way to go for the fighting to leave the forest, so for now Ukraine's positions around Torske are safe.

As mentioned previously, whilst Russian forces did capture the majority of Netailovo, they technically did not control the whole town due to Ukraine still having a tiny presence in the far western part. Russian forces have now taken that area over, and have been confirmed to control the whole town. From here, they will likely increase the buffer around the town itself by making advances in the fields north and south.

After confirming control over the ruins of Robotyne a few days ago, Russian forces made small advances on the north and east side, capturing a few trenches. Despite the fall of the village itself, progress will still be as slow as it has been for months, due to the density of minefields, trenches and dugouts.

Russian forces made some advances around Novomykhailivka, capturing the western field and one just north of the microdistrict. Despite raising their flag in Paraskoviivka (red dot above advance), Russia does not actually control the whole village, with Ukrainian forces still present in the western half.
