Ukrainian Forces Advance: 5.82 km²

Ukrainian forces once again pushed Russia away from Terny over the last week, recapturing some trenchlines. This is the second time this year Ukraine has retaken this area, with Russian forces unable to hold their positions here long-term. Russia will likely try assault Terny again in the future, and the back and forth will continue.

Russian Forces Advance: 0.57 km²

Russian forces began advancing through the southern suburbs of Niu-York, following days of fighting over the first houses. For now, this is mostly a smaller Russian force trying to push into the town, however larger assaults in conjunction with other Russian advances around Toretsk cannot be ruled out yet.

With Russia controlling Paraskoviivka (left red dot) and Pobjeda (just off map to the north), they were able to conduct a series of attacks over the past few days, capturing a large portion of fields. The remaining fields between the two villages will likely be capturing over the next week, as Russian forces continue trying to advance north of Kodtyantynivka, in conjunction with their assaults south of the town.

Russian forces made a small advance in Maksymilyanivka, capturing a trenchline on the eastern outskirts of the town, as well as several more buildings in the town itself. The fighting in this area is relatively low intensity, with both sides having most of their forces deployed in the section of the front in Krasnogorivka (just of map to the north).

Russian forces continued making incremental progress in Krasnogorivka, capturing more of the residential areas. Ukrainian forces are currently clashing with Russian assault troops in the hospital district, as well as the centre of the town, trying to hold their last positions in the heavily fortified areas.

Russian forces expanded the buffer around Novookeksandrivka. They are currently trying to consolidate their positions in the village, but will likely make a move to assault towards Vozdvyzhenka within the next few weeks.

The heavy clashes around Chasiv Yar continue. Russian forces have managed to clear out a chunk of the forest area between Kalinina and the microdistrict. The majority of the forest area on the east side of the canal has now fallen into the grey zone, as geolocated footage has shown Russian recon groups operating right next to the pipe area of the canal.

Ukrainian forces re-entered the southern area of Vovchansk for the third time, recapturing some of the buildings there. Intense clashes continue throughout the town itself, with the Ukrainian command intent on trying to capture and hold that southern area, despite them being pushed out several times before.
