Russian Forces Advance: 23.72 km²

Advance = 23.72km2

Heading straight into the Kursk front first, heavy clashes and strikes continue across the frontline. On the north side, Russian forces have advanced out of the small town of Sheptukhovka (not marked on map, its at the start of the middle arrow), capturing multiple fields and treelines, undoing most of Ukraine’s progress from this advance a week and a half ago. The front lines in Kursk are starting to straighten and have mostly stabilised, as Russia has cleared the majority of the grey areas Ukrainian troops dashed into in the first few weeks. This does not mean there will not be any advances, but that the front line is becoming similar to that of the ones in Ukraine, where control and access are clear.

Elsewhere there are clashes around Russkoe Porechnoe and Martynovka, as Ukraine tries to continue expanding its control.
Russian Forces Advance: 9.46 km²

Advance = 9.46km2

West of Klishchivka, Russian assault groups made large gains over the past few days, pushing Ukrainian troops out and capturing most of the fields and treelines up to the canal. This was enabled by the Russian capture of the trench network on the high ground (above the i and y), as well as the withdrawal of the Ukrainian 93rd Mechanised Brigade, who were sent to Pokrovsk. With the loss of this area, the remaining area east of the canal, south of this advance will likely fall into Russian hands over the coming week or 2, as Ukraine pulls back to the trenches it has built along the western side of the canal.
Russian Forces Advance: 0.41 km²

Advance = 0.41km2

Following on from the previous update, Russian troops have cleared more of Druzhba, capturing another part of the town. Once again, Druzhba is still not under full Russian control, with their now only being a small section on the western side to clear, which is currently in the greyzone. As I mentioned previously, this will be cleared within the next few days.
Russian Forces Advance: 6.12 km²

Top Advance = 0.98km2, Bottom Advance = 5.14km2

Onto the Vuhledar front, Russian assault groups have continued making progress around Prechystivka following their capture of the town in the previous update, taking over several more fields. A large area of the front here has also fallen into the greyzone, as Ukrainian troops have fallen back, and possibly abandoned this area altogether, although it hasn’t been confirmed just yet. As an aside, we’ve had videos of part of the capture of Prechystivka released, which can be found here and here.

Its currently unclear whether Russia intends to cross the Kashlahach River in Prechystivka, advance into Zolota Nyva and cross there, or both.
Ukrainian Forces Advance: 1.69 km²

Advance = 1.69km2

Around Lyptsi, Ukrainian troops have recaptured some of the forest area around the Lypets river. This area has traded hands several times over the past few months, as Ukraine seeks to push Russia back over the border.
Russian Forces Advance: 0.40 km²

Advance = 0.40km2

In Chasiv Yar, Russian assault groups have quickly expanded their control of Kalinivna after they crossed the canal 2 days ago, capturing most of the town. Russian troops here will need to solidify their positions and capture part of the surrounding forests, in order to ensure they aren’t forced back over the canal by a Ukrainian counterattack. Russia’s goal here is likely to capture the hills just west of Kalinivna, which will aid in their assault of central Chasiv Yar.
Ukrainian Forces Advance: 1.89 km²

Advance = 1.89km2

In Niu-York, new information has come out regarding the current situation in the area, although its still a confusing mess. Over the past few days, Ukrainian troops drove Russian forces out of the small foothold they had in Nepilivka (confirmed).

As for Niu-York itself, that’s a bit harder to describe. There contradicting reports from Russian and Ukrainian sources regarding the situation, but the claim is that Russia never fully cleared the Phenolic Factory when the first captured most of the town a few weeks ago, and an unknown number of Ukrainian soldiers were holding out somewhere in the complex (likely in the basements). On top of that, its alleged Ukraine re-entered the northern side of Niu-York, and has opened a very thin route between the factory and their own lines, with which to reinforce and supply the trapped Ukrainian troops. The lack of photos and videos from Niu-York over the past few weeks have made it incredibly difficult to determine what is actually going on, and it isn’t helped by the conflicting statements by both sides. For now, Suriyak has marked the area as Ukraine controlled, but I’ll need more concrete information before I can make any comments or analysis.

There was also a Ukrainian counterattack on the west side of the town (confirmed), which failed. I would link video to it (2 Armoured cars being destroyed), but it seems to have disappeared from the sub.
Russian Forces Advance: 8.54 km²

Advance = 8.54km2

Southeast of Selydove, Russian troops continued their offensive, capturing a large area of fields and forests, as well as half of the village of Lisivka (left red dot). This advance means Russian troops are not only going around Ukrainsk (town below @), but have also reached the outskirts of Hirnyk, the next town south. Similar to Niu-York, the situation in Ukrainsk is unknown due to a lack of footage, and highly conflicting reports. Some Russian forces say they control a small part or over half of Ukrainsk, whilst Ukrainian sources say Russia was pushed all the way back in this area and never even entered Lisivka.

Because of these conflicting reports and lack of visual evidence, its difficult to make any comment, however if Russia can continue advancing around Ukrainsk, they may well be able to cut it off from resupply, or be able to assault from multiple directions simultaneously. As for Hirnyk, its unlikely Russia will be able to make much progress into that town with Ukrainsk under Ukrainian control, due to the threat of a counterattack from behind.
Late edit: definitely fighting going on in Ukrainsk. Ukrainian video posted of a soldier in the town, where a lot of gunfire is heard, but not seen.

There are also currently clashes reported by both sides in or near Lisivka, as well as in Zhelanne Pershe (red dot above Zhelanne Druhe).
Ukrainian Forces Advance: 4.80 km²

Advance = 4.80km2

Over the past 2 days, Ukrainian troops in Selydove counterattacked, pushing Russian troops out of the city and back to Mykhailivka. This was done with the help of the 15th National Guard (confirmed), and 72nd Mechanised Brigades (likely), who arrived in the city last week. The Russian assault groups, spread out and not having consolidated their gains, were unable to withstand the attacks and fell back. Russia still maintains its control of the mine complex on the eastern edge of the city, which it will try turn into a forward base for assault operations, if it can maintain control.

Russia will almost certainly try to attack the city again, but will need to bring its logistics, equipment and more soldiers up into the area to do so, now that the city is properly manned. Russia may also try to cut supplies off to Selydove by advancing in the fields to the north out of Novohrodivka, and ones in the south, if they can capture Ukrainsk.

Additional point:

Brigades Ukraine has moved to the Pokrovsk front since the Russian offensive starting at Prohres began:

15th National Guard – Was around Orikhiv (Robotyne Salient), now around Selydove

71st Jager Infantry Brigade – Was around Vovchansk, now around Myrnohrad

72nd Mechanised Brigade (allegedly) - Was around Vuhledar, now allegedly around Selydove

93rd Mechanised Brigade – Was around Klishchivka (Chasiv Yar front), now around Novohrodivka

125th Territorial Defence Battalion – Was in forests west of Vovchansk, now around Myrnohrad

151st Mechanised Brigade – Newly created, first deployment was to around Prohres, now around Myrnohrad

152nd Jager Brigade (allegedly) – Was in Kursk, allegedly being redeployed to around Pokrovsk or Selydove

The 47th Mechanised Brigade has allegedly been withdrawn from the frontline, following heavy casualties and equipment losses sustained during months of fighting on the Ocheretyne/Pokrovsk front. It was replaced by the 93rd Mechanised Brigade.
